The 12 tents of Lemala Ndutu Tented Camp are set up for 4 months on the plain of Ndutu in the Ngorongoro Conservation close to the border of Southern Serengeti.
This a solid high-mid camp with 9 spacious tents each with 2 queen beds which makes it a particularly great option for families with children sharing with parents.

Serengeti Safari Camp - Each year, this little camp casts off and begins its own odyssey. Covering hundreds of miles and moving every couple of months along a route that the herds have travelled for hundreds of years, Serengeti Safari Camp is where you come for your migration fix. The camp is effortlessly comfortable - a home from home, where guests want for nothing.
Serengeti Safari Camp has just 6 open-plan walk-in meru tents, with an en-suite bathroom at the rear. One of these tents is a family tent with two bedrooms and an adjoining sittting area.
New eco-flush toilets and safari-style bucket showers, as well as a wash-basin with cold running water, and hot water delivered as needed.
The main dining tent sits in the middle of the line of tents, with the fireplace right in front and a separate libary/bar tent nearby.
Small and intimate Serengeti Safari Camp leaves a light footprint and strikes the perfect balance between comfort and practicality - everything you need with classic style. A purist's dream.

This is the high end of luxury mobile camping, complete with a private butler service, chandeliers, silverware, crystal, ensuite flush w.c. and comfortable beds with fluffy duvets. The Under Canvas mobile camps by &Beyond are positioned strategically to maximize game viewing (and the migration).
The guest areas include a dedicated sitting and dining tent, which provides deep sofas from which to contemplate the vastness and peace of the surrounding landscape. Custom made Indian rugs and polished brass samovars add a touch of elegance and romance.

Alex Walker's Serian Camps offer the gold standard in exclusive and authentic tented camps. Intimate camps with only 6 tents in secluded prime positions, mobile safari camping doesn't get any more elegant and comfortable than this.
Camp comprises of four double tents and 2 family suites (2 complete en-suite tents connected by a lounge tent.)
Mid Dec - April Serian offer 2 (practically identical) camps in the Southern region
Kusini Camp is tucked away South-western corner of Serengeti - prime location for the migration and a area heavily populated with cats.
The other camp is a little south of the Serengeti and lies within Ngorongoro Conservation Area; while still a great base for game-viewing this camp also lends itself to walking and cultural experiences.
For those with the time (and budget) a combination of the two camps would offer an amazing all-round experience - with even a little fly-camping thrown in for the really adventurous.
